U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, Deputy Commander Clay Morgan presents Lori Gardner with the USACE Construction Management Excellence Award.

Lori Gardner, project engineer of Engineering and Construction for the Fort Worth District was awarded the USACE Construction Management Excellence Award for her outstanding work on managing the Maneuver Systems Sustainment Center, Phase III, Red River Army Depot contract. Her planning skills contributed immensely to the completion of the $40 million Maneuver Systems Sustainment Center and turn over to Red River Army Depot by the Beneficial Occupancy Date of November 19, 2015. Gardner’s efforts to proactively manage the construction schedule, resolve issues timely, and engage the Directorate of Public Works, resulted in the successful construction of the 232,000 square foot building to include an industrial work floor, specialized construction to support remanufacturing and rebuilding of military vehicles, conventional office space, parts storage, office space, cafeteria, and conference room space.
